Hi there, I'm Mercy! I love you. I already know this because I've never met a single person that I didn't love. I'm quiet and gentle and cuddly and typically just a little on the lazy side, as I search for the perfect soft spot to take a nap next to you or on your lap. I'm a darling, 8-9 year old, 60-pound sweetheart with an easygoing personality that is already housebroken. I will melt your heart with my expressive face and little butt wiggle when you talk to me. I'm currently staying in a foster home to give me a break from shelter life. Foster Mom, Dad and I have so much fun together, living the simple life and savoring each day. I'm perfect in the house! Foster Mom and Dad say I'm the sweetest dog they've ever fostered. I like to snuggle and cuddle on the couch with an occasional play session with my toys (stuffed ones and ropes are my current favorites) mixed in for fun. I'm quiet and calm and I don't bother a thing. I listen well and I'm eager to please. I am an excellent leash walker and I love car rides with the air on my face and curling up while we ride together. I am so cute when I trot along right next to you as we walk! I'd love a quiet, calm, slow lifestyle where I can live my life in peace but I need a home without other dogs. I'm not typically reactive when I see other dogs at a distance during a walk, but I can't live with them, and I'm not the sort of dog that you can take to a dog park or doggie daycare. I just need to keep my distance from other dogs. I want all your love to myself but promise you I'll give you so much love in return! Life can be hard but sometimes it takes someone special to step into your life and make all the difference. I'm just a sweet and loving dog looking for you to come into my life and never leave.
