My name is MOCHA and I'm a gorgeous 7 yr F Tan/White Amstaff. I'm 70 lbs of BIG LOVE!! My owners had to move to a new home due to COVID hardship and now the landlord says I have to go!! I'm a sweet chunky mama that had a very rough start in life. I was used as a bait dog as a puppy and luckily was rescued before I was torn to bits; however the scars were deep and as a result I am NOT FOND OF DOGS! I've had a few altercations with dogs in the past so I need to be a SOLO DOG. Funny enough I'm ok with cats as I'm living with cats now. I've never been around young kids but because of my size... ages 13 yrs+ would be best. I'm a chubba wubba because I'm not getting enough daily exercise and my mama spoils me with chicken mcnugget treats ....but all the more dog to love! and I am a COMPLETE SNUGGLEBUG!! I have to snuggle under the covers with you!! I love people and get very excited to meet them and sometimes I can be jumpy and mouthy because I can't contain my excitement so I will need further training with that. I'm looking for an ADULT ONLY quiet home in the suburbs with patient humans that are EXPERIENCED DOG HANDLERS & KNOW, UNDERSTAND and APPRECIATE MY BREED. I need structured daily exercise and further discipline/ socialization training, but I'm eager to please (w/ treats) and quick to learn. I am a DIAMOND in the RUFF & will give you back 200% if you will work with me to put the demons of my puppy past behind. Please give me a chance today!!! My time is running out!! FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
