Please contact Nancy Logan (nancyl@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet shy girl seeking love!NALA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME WITH A WELCOMING RESIDENT DOG AND NO KIDS UNDER THE AGE OF 12!!!!   Come meet Nala and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (July 18th) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Gaithersburg (218 Kentlands Blvd, Gaithersburg MD 20878)!   Name: Nala    Best Guess for Breed: Australian shepherd/ Wheaton terrier mix  Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of July 2021    SEX: Female   Approximate Weight: 62 lbs.   Gets Along With:  Nala gets along well with large and small dogs and must go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested. Because she is shy, she cannot go to a home with children under the age of 12.    Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.   Special adoption considerations:  Nala is shy, and must go to a home where there is a welcoming resident dog ready to show her the ropes. Additionally, because of her shyness she needs to be in a calm home without sudden movements or loud noises; therefore, she cannot go to a home with children under the age of 12.    Nala is Looking For: Her forever family! This pretty girl is ready for her new start in life with a patient and loving adopter. She is eager to discover all the wonderful things life has in store for her, but she needs that to happen on her own timeline, with love and support. A confident and welcoming dog will go a long ways towards helping her feel confident in her home. Obedience school will help her build her braves as well!  She's looking forward long sniffy walks and lots of new experiences with four and two legged friends! She'd love to explore all the toys as well.  But what she wants most of all is to be able to go out confidently and enjoy what the days have to offer -- and then lay down with a sigh at night, knowing she is safe and loved. What do you say? Does this sweet girl have a place in your home and in your heart?  What My Foster Says About Me: Nala is a sweet and shy girl who is learning the ins and outs of living in a home with my dogs. She does well with large and small dogs. Anyone who adopts Nala will need to be very patient and supportive of this adorable girl. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
