Pet name:
Sonja - Foster (101) / 2016
Coat length:
Sonja Sonja is a 45 pound cattle dog / lab mix and she is about 3 years old. We have had her since March of 2016 because we were trying to keep her together with her mom, Momma Madre. After speaking with a behaviorist, we have decided to separate the two after having them for two years with no interest. Sonja is very shy in new environments and around new people. She tends to be somewhat insecure. However, within her own foster home, she is very extrovert and playful. Sonja would be a good pet for a quiet and calm family or person who has a regular routine. She would not make for a good road trip type of companion. Sonja enjoys her fosters backyard and she is very good at leaving presents at the door. Sonja is current on shots, flea / tick / HW preventative, fixed, and she is microchipped. Sonja does have Diabetes Insipidus which will require twice daily eye drops to be given. This is a lifelong condition but is easily manageable with twice daily eye drops. Date of Intake: 3/17/16, updated 6/23/18 Sonja is located in foster care in Maumelle. Meet and Greet appointments available! For more information, please email us at Online adoption applications located at Our adoption fee is $80. Included in the fee is shots, sterilization, microchip, dogs are given a dewormer at time of intake, placed on monthly flea/tick preventative, if heartworm negative then they are placed on heartworm preventative, if heartworm positive then they are treated once an adoption finalized.      Find Maumelle Friends of the Animals on Facebook!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
