Sweet Lena was found with a huge open gash to her leg and dumped for dead. Someone found her, called our rescue and she was off to the emergency vet. Lena was so loving to the people around her the whole time even though she had to be in pain. She was so tough through it all and is now completely healed. Lena was also found to be heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment she will be fully cleared before she is officially adopted. You will not meet a more loving, affectionate dog then her. She is ready for an adventure in the car or snuggling up to you in bed all day. Come meet this sweetie! We prefer at this time she be an only pet. She will not react or act aggressive when passing dogs on leash. She is all the perfect size small and stocky!   All adoptable dogs have been medically cleared by our attending veterinarian at Clear Lake Animal Hospital, up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered and microchipped. All dogs currently on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and parasite free. Adoption fee for dogs are 1-6 years old $250 and 7+ years $150  To be considered for adoption please fill out the application here:

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
