Brianna (FCID# 05/09/2019 - 74) was entrusted into my care in May 2019.  She was a feral who had no human contact with anyone.  The four months were very difficult for her as she did not trust humans.
With patience and love, I would spend hours with her just exploring my home and allowing her to get to know me. Before I would pet her, I would make her smell the back of my hand and continually call her name . Finally, she gave me her first meow, and I was so delighted!  Over the weeks and months, Brianna would respond to her name and would sit patiently to be fed.  She loves to sit on the cat tower just looking out the window. She is funny and very laid back.  She is able to socialize with other cats, but this has to take time. She get along very well with two of my cats.
Brianna still has trust issues, and we are working on them every day.  She has become a very affectionate cat, and she loves to be petted. 
Every day, Brianna and I make progress. She sleeps on the pillow beside me at night making herself right at home. The one thing she does not like is to be picked up.  It scares her.  I know from personal experience with my 4 cats, there is only one that permits me to pick him up.
Brianna and Sabrina were rescued together and are with their foster family.  They need a forever home with a patient and understanding family to give the girls time to get to know them and trust them.
