Ellen is a 12 lb, 3 year old long-haired Chihuahua Spaniel mix. Her nature is very calm, peaceful, and easy to be around, as she likes her naps. She is excellent at using a doggy door and also making sure she goes to the bathroom outside. Ellen is a snuggle bug and has a gentle and kind nature seemingly doing best with women, living in a predictable environment with 1-2 people at most, (ideally no other dogs and/kids/aka sudden and loud noises or chasing) and with humans who will help her win in their space by being patient, gentle, and nurturing with her as she learns to trust and feel safe. She loves to be pet and snuggled with and often rolls over on her back inviting you to love on her by giving her a belly rub. With a little guidance and light training, Ellen also does excellent walking beside you on a leash. No off-leash outside of a secure yard, and mind the front doors too, because she is a bit skittish and will flee if even a little bit scared.
Ellen is ready to be adopted and is up-to-date on shots, spayed, microchipped, and her adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.
Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,

Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or
involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery
Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet
owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such
