Description:
Libby is a beautiful long-haired kitty.  Her fur is very soft and fluffy.  Libby is very curious.  She likes watching the birds and squirrels on the feeder. She is high energy and likes to play hide and seek with her foster mom.  Most of the time she remembers to play without using her claws.  She’s not a lap kitty, but she is very social and likes to be in the same room as her foster family.   She likes it when her humans play with her, but she doesn’t like to be picked up.  She will let you pet her for a short while but will let you know when she has had enough.  Libby does like to sleep at the foot of her foster parent’s bed at night.  Libby shares her foster home with a puppy.  While she is not fond of the dog, she does tolerate him and will hold her ground if he tries to get too friendly.  Libby would do well in a quite home with no young children and forever parents that are experienced cat owners.  Libby is being fostered in Southington.  She was born around April 2019, is fixed, up-to-date on shots and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. *.   All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.  Application for adoption can be found at https://www.fosterandforever.org/   Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs. *Long Term Foster/Senior Cat-Reduced Adoption Fee

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
