Meet Bridget!! This beauty has a real sweet disposition with a touch of sass. She has a beautiful, thick coat that is so soft to the touch. Bridget is a good eater and loves to play with the mouse on a string and catnip fish.
Bridget is being fostered in Middlefield with resident and foster animals. She has a major crush on the easy going, dominant male resident cat and will follow him anywhere. He helps her to come out of her shell. She seems to love other cats and is slowly winning over the two female cats that are usually territorial 'mean girls'. She is curious about the dog who is small and old, and just wants to be left alone, not much interaction there.
Bridget is very timid, but is expanding her comfort zone in her foster home each day. She has spent a number of months outside on her own and will need time to adjust to living with people in a house. When she warms up and is comfortable in her environment, her very sweet personality comes out. Then she can be very affectionate and fun to play with, she does need more work with being picked up and held. She would do very well with a cat experienced person who would be patient and give her time and space to adjust and feel safe. She also needs a quiet, low key home with another pet that would appreciate her company, welcome her and help her gain confidence.
Bridget was born around September 2019. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV* All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Application for adoption can be found at https://www.fosterandforever.org/ Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs.
