Please note that we can not guarantee the age, expected weight or breed of any animal. What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  Fairfield County Animal Control and Adoption Center is an overcrowded facility packed to the max with cats. Tiny kittens have come to the shelter and are growing up behind the bars of the cage. Older cats are coming in and barely have a shot to be adopted. Nothing is moving. No one is being adopted. It is just one big stall. This is why we need to help these cats.  meet our younger crowd, not quite babies, but not quite adults either. They've got PERSONALITY that is ready to be added to your home. These poor babes sat in the shelter cages, waiting weeks (sometimes MONTHS) for someone to choose them with no luck. They're the "teenagers" stuck in the middle with age and constantly overlooked. Yet, we find that given the time, patience and love to blossom, they do in the most extraordinary way. They are cat friendly, would be fine with cat savvy dogs, and most of all, good with people they care about the most.  She is ready to find her forever home.  She is FIV/LEUK negative, UTD on vaccines for her age, dewormed, and microchipped.   Our cats (and rescue) are located on Long Island, NY, and YES, we do adopt out of state within reasonable distance! FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
