This write-up is from the previous shelter that Phoebe was in.   They forwarded this to us in hopes we can find this sweet girl her forever home. Phoebe  -  DSH, 1 year old, Spayed Female.   FULLY VETTED!!! FVRCP Vaccinated, Dewormed, Combo Tested Negative! And Given Flea Control! Even has a Rabies Vaccination. She came in part of a large hoarding, poor condition cat case from November. She is the last one from the case that has yet to be rescued or adopted. She has never lived outside and I really want to find her the right home that will be patient with her. She has been in a foster home since the New Year. She has made HUGE Strides but her foster home was only a temporary situation and Phoebe needs a more permanent home. She has also been easy to handle, and not aggressive. She just needs time to come out of her shell. Since she has been in the foster home, she has made herself comfortable in the house. She will lay in the middle of a room and climb the kitty tower. She will even play with toys and chase bugs. The only thing is if you make a sudden movement toward her she runs to hide. Or if you want to pet her, you have to pick her up to give her attention. She rarely will approach someone to seek attention. She doesn't put up a fight when you pick her up and she will stay with you as long as you are petting her. She will even purr.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
