Iris would love to join you! Iris is a 5-1/2 month old 23-pound young German short hair pointer mix  (mom was a GSP and we think dad must have short legs as Iris has shorter legs) who has been in foster care since New Year's Eve. Her sisters have left for their homes, and she is ready for hers.   Iris is always interested in whatever is going on. She loves to be the center of attention and check out every noise she hears. You will fall in love with her beautiful face as she looks at you for her treats, a new toy or affection ("Iris, you're SO PRETTY!" is said on the daily around her foster home). In between she LOVES playing with her big best dog friend, taking long naps on the softest, biggest dog bed and sniffing the kitchen for any food you might have left on the floor for her.   She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots and Heartworm prevention. She is crate trained and workly slowly on house training (there's so many exciting things she doesn't want to miss out on!). She will need a sturdy fence and a patient, loving family with time to spend with her. She would LOVE to have a dog friend to hang out with when her humans are busy. She will need training (she will be a big strong girl!) and time to adjust to her new surroundings, but she cannot wait to be your companion for whatever adventures you want to go on!   If you are interested in adopting Iris, please fill out the application.  PXL_20210402_205201829.LS.mp4     **Please read before applying as these items are required: Vet reference required and are verified. Will require a physical fence (An electronic or "invisible” fence does not meet our adoption criteria)We are foster based only (No shelter) you can't just drive up here and get a pet. If you are interested in a animal fill out the form, not a binding contract to adopt. This is how we get your information to the foster, most of our foster live in the Stillwater Ok. Area. Application to meet                                                                               We do adopt out of state but we do not ship animals, If you want to adopt one of our animals, you must come to pick them up in Oklahoma.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
