Description:
“The good things in life are better with a Pyr.” Meet Samantha, who is always there to give you love and affection. She is dog and people friendly. Her foster mom does not know why she was owner surrendered to the rescue because she finds her lovable, sweet, and would make a great pet to everyone. She is a love bug on people. She loves to be touching you or near you. She will nuzzle up to you and look at you with those eyes; it is hard to resist giving her pets!

Samantha was born around June 2017, weighs a very lean 45 lbs, and could do lots of good groceries. She is house trained, rides well in a car, is learning to walk nicely on a leash, does not chew on things, and is not food or toy possessive. Samantha chases her foster feline sibling but has not caught her yet. She is playful and would make a great hiking buddy.

She would do well in a family with older, considerate kids and appreciate a submissive resident canine companion. Would you please complete an Adoption Application if Samantha sounds like a loving Pyr for you and your family?

When adopting from us, you can rest assured that we provide life-long support and advice when it comes to your new family member. As always, our purpose is to find the best match for every unique dog that comes through our doors. Taking the time to find the right fit comes first and foremost at the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society. If you are interested in adopting, please take the time, and apply. You will see firsthand how much care, attention and love goes into the process, when you are guided a personal screener. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
