Description:
Satchel's Last Resort adoptions@satchelslastresort.org** MEDICAL SPECIAL NEEDS ** Kelly has so many volunteer fans who don't understand why she is still at the shelter because she is so loving. It could be that her body is unable to keep her kidney values stable without some help from subcutaneous fluids. We don't really know why but with her twice a week flulid supplements, her values remain stable. Our vet doesn't believe this will, in any way, shorten her life or cause her any pain as long as she continues to get her fluids. She patiently stands for the 15 minutes it takes to give them to her. So should this really be why she has to live out her life at a shelter? Kelly has found herself a Woof Pack leader here at Satchel's so she is able to get out of the shelter, see the outside world, and meet new people. Please consider opening up your heart and home to Kelly and give yourself an amazing gift this year.  Kelly weighs approximately 55 lbs and is guessed to be 6 years old. For an appointment to meet her, please email adoptions@satchelslastresort.org or call 941-924-5070.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
