Thank you for stopping by to see me!   Please check below to see what upcoming adoption events I will be attending or apply here for a private meeting.  If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <> ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***   DOB:  12/01/2015 Requires another dog in home: Yes, needs another dog Okay with dogs of all sizes: Loves playing with the big dogs Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: They need to understand my size and energy Requires a fenced yard:  Yes, until proven otherwise  Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hi! My name is Bryer and I am a SWEET girl! I am learning how to play and am adjusting to life with a family. I love my foster family! I live with several huskys and we love to play all day – we are team husky and awesome! I enjoy hugs, being groomed, chew toys and lots of treats! I am super affectionate and rather mischievous. If you aren't paying attention to me, I will jump on the counter and steal a snack. My foster mom uses a firm tone and tells me, "Down" and then I run away! I am learning how to potty outside and have accidents if you don't take me out regularly. Being outdoors is a lot of fun for me, especially when I can play with my fur buddies. A fence would be ideal as I could zoom around and you won't worry about me having an accident indoors. The only thing I am afraid of is being left alone. Loud noises and thunderstorms don't bother me at all-I'm actually kinda fearless. I would benefit from living with a family who has a fence, older kids (11+) and another dog. I definitely speak husky and will talk to you. I even argue with you when you ask me to do what I'm not ready to do. I don't recommend living with a cat as I have a prey drive and will chase littler creatures. What I really want is the freedom to play and be loved by a forever family. In return, I will take good care of you and promise to do my best. Some of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. Others have come from various situations where they are lacking confidence in humans. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.     ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***    ADOPTION EVENTS:   Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.   ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website:   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at if you have further questions.   FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  and fill out a foster application.   NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.   YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
