Please contact Kallie Brennan (kallieb@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet lab mix seeking love!LEONA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME WITH A WELCOMING RESIDENT DOG AND NO KIDS UNDER 12!!!!   Name: Leona      Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of February 2021     SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 46 lbs   Gets Along With:  Leona has done well with other dogs at the shelter. We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested   Currently Living at:  DC area foster   Leona is Looking For: Her forever family! Sure, she's eagerly seeking long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the fun adventures a girl could want - running on the beach, hiking in the mountains, and conquering pupachinos at Starbucks. But what she really wants is to have her very own humans to love and to get love back from. Leona would like nothing better than to lay down at the end of a long fun day with her chin on your foot (or better yet, on your shoulder while curled up on the sofa with you) and sigh, knowing she is safe and loved.  What do you say? Is this sweet girl the one for you? What My Foster Says About Me: "Occasionally she would play in the yard with toys we'd throw her (she is fast!!!!) And we used the lead to let her explore on her own while sitting out with her. She really likes puzzle toys and is good at them. And she liked some chews, though not all. She generally liked pulling toys out of the toy bin." FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
