Description:
Jessie has the most inquisitive expression. Her golden eyes with her stand up ears complete the look.  What look is that you ask?  Why it is the look of love and Jessie has more than her share to give.   Jessie is a 6 month old labrador retriever mix weighing around 38 pounds.  She has some growing to do and it is estimated that she may be around 60-70 pounds when fully grown.  That is only a guess because time will tell what she will weigh but in the meantime, we are certain that she will be a delight to watch grow up.There is no illusion with Jesse.  She is all heart and soul with an eagerness to make friends. Her friendly nature goes a long way when making friends with other dogs and children. She has not had the opportunity to meet a cat.  She would do well with canine and/or human siblings. She will love all fun times that she knows are in store for her.  She looks forward to lots of treats, a cozy bed, lots of play and tons of socialization. As with all puppies, Jessie is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from an adorable puppy to an amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize her so that she can become the perfect lifelong companion. The training basics start out with house, crate and leash training. Jessie is in process with all three. It will take time and determination to master all three. With the continued support of her family, Jessie can't lose. Warm weather is here and it is an invite to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. There is no better way to do that than to have your best friend by your side. Jessie's adoption fee is $450. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To help speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
