Hi, I'm SHAWNEY - cute as can be!  I'm actually happy, sweet, very active and phenomenally  adorable once I get to know and trust you but  I intensely dislike being confined in a crate and will react by growling or nipping when being put in or taken out of the crate.  I can be dog and person selective; if I like you then we're okay.  If not, I can be reactive and could even nip.  Because I have this issue, it is recommended that my forever family DOES NOT INCLUDE  CHILDREN .  I would do best in a home with a low level of stimulation; a calmer, quiet, environment would be ideal but with a space to use my boundless energy. I enjoy playing with my foster in a fenced yard so that would be a must for my new home.  I'm curious about my foster family's cat but I'm not sure what could happen if I ever had the chance to interact with them.  I am spayed, up-to-date on Rabies and yearly vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.  I'm ready to go to a home who can with time, love, appreciation of my high energy level and patient experienced training will help me be all that I can and should be. If that's you, please fill out an online dog adoption application for SHAWNEY.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
