She is a pit mix-we are thinking maybe mixed with bulldog of some kind. You can't really see it in the pics but her ears do stand up like a bulldogs would. She came to us through CPR in March of 2021 and is fully vaccinated with the exception of one booster. I wish so much that she was a fit for our family but she nips at our older dogs ears and our old guy just won't stick up for himself and tell her to knock it off :( Which has resulted in many vet visits and ultimately a lower quality of life for our older dog. She is not aggressive in any way but unfortunately what she thinks is play is causing injury. Hazel loves chew toys (like the indestructible kind!), she's getting the hang of the leash and LOVES to run. She loves the sunshine and I often find her basking on the patio furniture on nice days. We have a 5 year old daughter and she does well with her. She is learning basic obedience, knows how to sit and is fully potty trained. When it comes to training, she is very treat motivated. With consistent treats as a reward, she was fully potty trained in under 2 weeks. She's a smart, smart girl. Hazel sleeps in a kennel and relaxes easily at bedtime with a blanket over her kennel. She is kenneled not because she will go potty but because she is still very much a puppy and will chew things that are left out. She rarely needs to be let out during the night and can go from about 11pm to 8am before needing to potty. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adoptABOUT ADOPTING FROM CPR: Adopters must be 21 years of age or older.
