Description:
Suri is a level headed Quarter horse mare who is a great all around horse. She has a great disposition and has great manners on the ground and under saddle. We have found she tends to be nervous when being ridden in the arena, and does best out on the trails. What can we say? She enjoys the view and fresh air! Suri is comfortable at the walk and trot, but will require more conditioning at the canter. She picks up both leads with ease and has a dependable stop and reverse. In the past she was used as a play date horse; attending local shows. Suri gets a little worried when saddling, after being evaluated by our chiropractor, we believe it is due to poor saddle fit in the past. She is perfectly fit and healthy and we believe this to be resolved through paying attention to saddle fit and being patient while she learns that not every saddle will cause her pain during her ride. Suri will require a wide fitted saddle, to best accomplish this. She also requires front shoes, at this time. Because of this she will require an advanced intermediate rider who is willing to work with Suri to gain softness and relaxation under saddle. We look forward to finding her ideal match! FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
