This little beauty is Nod - she's a Retriever mix pup who was born 3/17/21.  At just under 4 months old, she weighs 18.2 pounds.  Nod and her brothers, Wynken and Blynken, found their way to Wish Bone and are now searching for their perfect forever homes.  Nod is full of personality and sure to bring a lot of laughter to your life!  She can be a little shy/timid of new people and new situations, but once she feels comfortable her true personality shines.  She's a silly and playful pup who loves to run around the yard with her canine foster sisters.  Nod loves spending time in the yard, whether she's running around, playing with agility equipment, or just lounging in the grass.  She loves being near her person, so she's not a big fan of the crate when you are home.  While she's excellent in her bedtime crate (in her foster mama's bedroom), she can voice her displeasure loudly at times during the day.  Nod will likely grow out of this phase once she is fully crate trained, but she should not go to an apartment or home with shared walls. Due to her size, puppy-ness, and timidness - Nod will probably do best in a home with children over the age of 5 years old.  She is good with dogs, but will need a proper dog introduction because not every dog likes her playfulness.  We do not know how she would do with a cat, but suspect a cat would put her in her place. If you're interested in adding Nod to your pack, apply today! Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $12 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
