Description:
Winnie - 3 year old terrier mix. Needs a quiet home with a secure yard. No kids.  Meet Winnie! We are looking for a special home for this girl. Winnie was adopted from a shelter some months ago. Her new owner realized quickly that Winnie is very fearful. It has taken some time to win her trust but Winnie is still having a hard time warming up to new people. She spends a lot of time hiding and feeling worried. Her owner has decided to surrender her to us in the hopes of finding a home where Winnie can continue to learn and gain confidence. We are hoping to find Winnie a patient and kind foster or adopter, who would be willing to partner with us to take her through our rehabilitation program for fearful dogs. We are sure that with time and effort Winnie can blossom and become a loving companion.  Winnie is good with other dogs and may be helped by having a more confident dog to follow around.  She is updated on all shots, spayed, and chipped.  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
