April Update: Allie was much more relaxed this past volunteer day than previously. She was still somewhat dog reactive so we are recommending Allie as an only animal in the home.Feb update: Allie is not doing so well in the shelter environment. While still great with people, she did not want to interact with the other dogs. She seems a little depressed and wasn't that happy go-lucky girl that she was when she first arrived.Meet Allie! This silly girl is searching for a furever home for the holidays! She did great with other dogs and barked at the cats nearby but was not aggressive. She could use some work on basic manners, but we think she would pick them up in no time! Adopt Allie today!Allie is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. She will be vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home. To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com.
