House Trained: In progress,
She’s had a few accidents in the house, but she could just be adjusting and stressed. I bring her out often and reward her if she pees outside.

Crate Trained: In progress,
She does not like to go in the crate, so no, but we are working on it. I have been rewarding her and feeding all meals in the crate for positive association between the crate and good things. Hopefully soon!!

From the Foster:

Nala is the sweetest girl. She loves cuddles and is so affectionate. She is calm but also wags her tail in excitement when she sees you and to go outside. I have not experienced her being aggressive or barking at all. She did test positive for heartworms, so I’m not too sure about how she does on a leash or her activity level since she has to remain as inactive as possible for the next 60 days or so. She’s always excited to go outside and sniff around in the grass though.

Hello! I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. If you're interested in adopting me, please apply to learn more and speak with our vet team!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
