Description:
Supporters and Recurring Giving Donors will be put on our VIP Application List Adoption Costs and other important information. Asya is a 2-4yr old terrier mix. She has had a rough life. She was dumped in the dessert in Kuwait and it made it back to the city to find food. Someone broke her leg so it healed a little funny. It looks like she is a ballerina. Asya did all she could to protect herself as well as her 8 puppies so needless to say she doesnt share her food well. Asya should be the only pet in the house and in a household with older children. She loves to roll around in the grass and snuggle with her humans. She is up to date on vaccines and crate trained and housebroken. If you want to welcome her into your home please text Sheryl at 508-277-0192.   Our apologies in advance, but we are going to get right to the new Covid 19 rules. Everything is by appointment only until further notice. We are not answering phones due to limited staff, all information is available on this website, or can be answered by email to staff@sterlingshelter.org. We are doing the best we can to handle the volume, but we are still not fully staffed. If there are no pictures and profiles below, it means that we currently do not have any animals up for adoption.  This can change on a daily basis, so please check daily. If your adoption application is approved we will contact you to schedule an appointment. If you are not contacted and the profiles are removed it means that all of the animals were adopted.  Unless you are on our VIP Adoption Application List, you will need to resubmit your application the next time a new group of animals are posted.  This is due to the large volume of applications being received, we cannot possibly maintain and track all the applications we are receiving.  We apologize for this inconvenience, but until we get this under control, it is the only way we can handle it right now. If you are scheduled for an appointment everyone, including are staff will be required to wear masks and follow all federal, state, and local guidelines. Adoption Costs and other important information. Supporters and Recurring Giving Donors will be put on our VIP Application List

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
