The Cat Shack
MARIE is a super sweet 2.5 to 3-year-old kitty that was living under a deck with another young mama (Katie). They were found in a heap with 10 kittens between them! Cat Shack volunteers trapped them & their kittens in Aug 2020.  
She has been in foster care with me (in Chalfont, PA) since late November. Marie is SUPER well-behaved and with each passing week becomes more and more like a regular house cat. She lets me love on her, purring her head off—and even comes to me for pets. She’s cute as a button, a litterbox champ and enjoys her scratching post—while leaving my furniture alone. If I’m late for a feeding, she lets me know with her tiny voice! In fact, she has ZERO aggression, doesn’t bite or scratch. (BTW, you must sign an agreement that you will NEVER declaw her.)
Marie will probably do best in a calmer home that’s not too noisy. It will take time for her to settle in, and she will likely gain even more confidence in a home with another sweet, accepting cat. 
She enjoys running up the stairs and looking out of windows. She mostly stays grounded/not a big jumper, is food motivated, and can amuse herself with spongy balls and play mice, but her favorite game is chasing treats that you throw across the room/hide throughout the house.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
