Description:
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND.  MJ and her sisters (FRANKIE and HARPER) were found in a backyard. The nice lady who had been taking care of the feral mama cat was giving the mama time to trap her and bring her inside with her. Once she was able to get mama and babies inside she reached out to rescue and we came to the rescue.  Once the babies were old enough to leave mama, the kind lady took mama and got her fixed. Mama is now part of her family. Kittens came to us and now they're ready to get their new forever home!  MJ is  extremely playful and high energy. She loves to play with her sisters. She comes running when she hears a can open or if she hears her food bowl being filled.  Anything is a toy to her and she especially loves boxes and toys she can carry in her mouth. You will need lots and lots of toys. And a cat / dog buddy.  MJ is DSH / Tuxedo MIX. She is about 4 months old and is good with cats and very curious about dogs. She has never been around small children. MJ is currently at PETSMART in Palm Desert, Ca. off Monterey Avenue. JUNE 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at the PETSMART where they are located. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first.  VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application By Email  2. Submit Application  3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home   *****************************   NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS. ***************************** The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application HAS to be requested and will be sent by email ONLY. Please include the pet's name in the SUBJECT LINE.  Email us directly:    WorkinWhiskers2020@hotmail.com   *************************  PLEASE DO NOT CALL . EMAIL ONLY. *************************** If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please do not email us asking if the cat is still available. Please email us requesting an application...if you're interested in adopting or scheduling a meet and greet.   Please note that we are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.  If we haven't reached out be patient.  We are an all VOLUNTEER rescue, meaning we are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues. So we do not do DISCOUNTS. MJ is ALREADY fully vetted.  The adoption fee of $200 covers:  Spay FVRCP shots  RABIES FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal dewormer Stronghold flea control Microchip If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!  Have a GREAT DAY!!!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
