↵ ↵ NAME: Maia Roberts AGE/GENDER: 2 year old female BREED: MEXICAN STREET DOG TEMPERAMENT: Loving and shy WEIGHT: 35 pounds HOUSE TRAINING: Good CRATE TRAINING: TBD OTHER DOGS: Good. She lived with other dogs in her previous home. However, she does have some leash reactivity we are currently working on. She will ignore appropriate dogs on the leash as long as they keep a distance but inappropriate growling and barking dogs she is learning to "leave it". CATS: TBD CHILDREN: Maia Roberts can be a shy girl so would likely do best in a home without children. ADOPTION DONATION: $500 HEALTH: Maia Roberts is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care. HISTORY: Maia Roberts was living on the streets of Guadalajara. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Maia Roberts is a sweet and loving dog. She has lived with other dogs and gets along with them. She can be shy so would do best in a home without children. She enjoys going for leash walks; however, is learning how to behave with inappropriate dogs (barking and growling from behind fences) on these walks. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew
