Description:
Name: Chowda  DOB: July 2020  Weight: 30 lbs Adoption Fee: $200 Hi guys, my name is Chowda!  If you’re looking for a fluffy ball of energy, look no further! I’m a bouncy guy who loves toys, wrestling and pretty much anything active. If you’ve always wanted a running or hiking partner, I’m your man. Hyper is my middle name. I love playing with my foster brothers. We will wrestle and play around for hours. I like rough play that can sometimes be too much for a puppy or smaller dog. While I love my brother, it takes me a while to warm up to new dogs.  Slow intros are a must!  I am not a dog park dog. My interactions with other pups need to be carefully monitored until we become friends. An ideal home would have another active dog who wants to wrestle and play with me. I do well as part of a pack. However, cats are way too exciting for me, so a cat free home is a must.    I love my humans so much. I want to be close to them and give them lots of cuddles and kisses. I like to sleep right between their heads at night. I’m hoping I go to a home where they will also let me sleep in the bed. I am such a loyal boy, I will be your very best friend.    Meeting new people can be stressful for me, so it’s important that we take things slow at first. But once I feel safe around them, I will love them like they are a member of our family! Kids are scary for me though and it’s best that I go to a child free home.  I know basic commands like sit and lay, and yes, I do respond to   Chowda   . I have a lot of energy and love spending lots of time outside, because of this, I really need a house with a fenced yard.    I am such a special boy and I can’t wait to find my forever home!   If you have questions or are interested in me, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal.  Please check out our website, www.ruffstartrescue.org for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals! All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs). Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
