These eager-to-please and sometimes a little goofy pups can’t wait to meet you. The litter is one beautiful girl – Missy and her handsome brothers – Tribble, Timmy, and Wonkie. We are thinking these playful pups are an Australian Kelpie, Beagle, and Lab mix. If you aren’t familiar with Kelpies, they are a working breed excellent at herding cattle, sheep, and goats. Wonkie seems to be the most cautious and unsure of the litter. He is very affectionate though and responds to attention and affection. He  needs to build confidence and to learn that the world isn't quite as scary as he currently worries it might be. The pups love all us humans including children, but we don’t know if they have lived with kids. They sometimes get a bit excited any may jump - potential adopters with young children should keep this in mind. They are friendly with other dogs but may get a little rowdy when playing. The Rock pups can be vocal where you will likely hear them bark when playing, welcoming you home, or alerting you of strangers on the property. Being just puppies, they will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and a ton of fun for you! A fenced yard would be ideal so Wonkie could run and play safely, but if that's not available he'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. Wonkie would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. If you are looking for a puppy, Wonkie or one of his littermates, may be perfect for you! Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family! Rock pup’s story: We don’t know a lot about these playful pups other than they were an unplanned litter that their owners could not keep. They are now living with a loving foster family and doing great!   Adoption Fee: $585 To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
