Description:
Oakland is a loyal and loving Malinois.  His foster refers to him a big goofball!  He loves life, but is happy to hang out on the couch or the bed.  Being with his people is important to him and he will let you know if there is attention that needs to be directed toward him.  Playtime with a ball or toy is fun, but bringing it back when thrown is a work in progress.  Squeaking toys are a favorite.  He has a foster brother currently and he loves to wrestle with him.  His foster parents are aware to watch for any brotherly dominance issues between them.He lived with kids in the past and loves them.  Gets along well with other dogs. Also loves to give kisses and get belly rubs.Oakland was relinquished to Sioux City Animal Control by his former family as there was an incident with a bicycle. It seems that he was teased prior in his life by someone on a bicycle and he reacted and was surrendered.   His foster has been working on it with him and he seems to be ok now with no reaction to bicycles.MAD Rescue also incudes a martingale collar, tag and an activated Fi tracking collar. The Fi tracking collar will remain activated for one year after which it becomes the obligation of the approved adopter to continue service. If you are interested in adopting or fostering this pet, please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic . We are an official 501C3 organization that does not have a physical location.
