Sweet, clever, and adored BC mixDo you love your dogs off the charts intelligent? The kind of pup whose wheels turn in the best way possible? We’d love to introduce you to an incredible dog named Matoh!    This beautiful boy is an approximately 10 year old collie mix and he’s earned himself a big fan club for good reason. Matoh is one of the smartest dogs around with a personality that’s true to his breed mix. He’s a genuine problem solver and it’s quite something to see him in action. With his bonded humans, he is also cuddly, affectionate, and content to curl up by your side on the couch or bed.    Matoh is currently in a temporary foster home where he’s proven himself to be house trained and an easy companion to have around. He loves puzzle toys, training games, and mental enrichment of all kinds but he also loves naptime - lots and lots of naps. He is friendly to humans and would do best in a child free home.  He has the potential to live with both well matched dogs and cats.    Matoh first came to rescue when his original owner died. His home is closing down and the property he lives at is being sold. He comes with training support to help ensure he thrives in his new home. We’ve noticed he’s pretty frightened of vehicle traffic since moving from his rescue’s country setting to a foster home in Austin so a quieter neighborhood and fenced yard would be ideal, however he is working on his bravery in a suburban setting as we speak, and he's an eager student.   Matoh’s support team adores him and think he has all the potential in the world to be the very best companion for the right human. Please contact us if you'd like to meet this sweet-hearted smartypants!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
