Description:
Howdy, my name is Luke.  I am a precious sweet, good looking boy that just wants to find his forever loving home.   I am such a gentle soul.  My Daddy escaped his pen one night and met up with my darling Mom who is part lab.  Needless to say, they didn’t follow the rules and I was created.  I just turned 7 yrs old, yep, they neutered me, I am orange and white, utd date on all my vaccines and I do take HW and FT prevention.  I am also crate trained.  I really am not a problem at all, just need someone to understand that I need to get settled.  I went through hw treatment, and it has been a good 90 days since and I am showing negative now.

If you would like to open your home to me, I would be soooooo appreciative you.   I would like a calm home and a fenced in yard to roam, sun and play in.  I am very, very laid back.  Sadly, I need to have a privacy fence, as I can climb the highest Chain-link fence you could find.   When I first went into boarding, there wasn’t a roof on my pen, and I climbed over and was sitting in a basket waiting for someone to come rescue me.  My Foster Mom has a picture of me just sitting there looking quite handsome.  One sad thing about me is I do shed.  I think if I get good food, brushed and a special shampoo that will help, but I need to be honest about my downfalls.  Only two isn’t bad right?!  chain-link and shed.  I am hoping because I am so adorable and such a good sweet laid back boy that will be overlooked.  Please consider loving me, for all I want is love and a loving kind home.

I do get along with other dogs.  Cats do stress me out, so please no cats.  I won’t hurt them, but I have to keep an eye on them at all times, it stresses me, as I know they are going to get me in my sleep.  I just know it.  I heard all about these Ninja cats.  VERY SCARY!!!!

Please consider a loyal best buddy.  I really would love my very own home.  Reason I am in rescue is because my Hoodad got sick and had to go into an assisted living home and I couldn’t go with him. Nothing that I did wrong.  Oh, and I forgot, Foster Mom giggles at me, as when I get excited, I chomp my teeth.  They think it is funny.  You can hear the giggling in the video, as they find it funny.  Plus, I just had a dental (No teeth pulled, all good)  and had the black dot on my face removed this week.  I am all set and ready for you to open up your home.

If you are interested in adopting me, please visit www.NBRAN.org to complete an adoption application. Contact Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  for more information after you have filled out the application. The adoption fee to adopt Luke in  Plano, TX  is $275  to offset his vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets in need.

Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

Luke isn’t on any meds, except HW & FT Prevention.  He had HW treatment, negative now.  He shows a grade one murmur, but it seems to be disappearing, but he may stay at the grade 1.  He is perfect and healthy per vet.
