Introducing the fabulous Mr. T!  This dapper little guy was found as a stray and taken to the local Humane Society. He was not doing well at the shelter, so they reached out to Worthy Dog to see if we could take him in. We knew from the first meeting that Mr. T was a charmer, and we were happy to help him find his true forever home. We can already tell he has been a loved family member at some point in his life and well socialized with other dogs.



Mr. T has been in his foster home for a few weeks now, living with three older dogs, two parents, and a teen girl. His foster mom, Patti, describes him as an absolute delight and confirms he's a smart pup who knows 'sit,' 'down,' and beg. He has been good with the family dogs, who are all pretty laid back, and matches the pack's energy. Patti's granddog, who is still a puppy, visited this week, and Mr. T ran and played with him non-stop...so he's a spry little guy. We would describe Mr. T as an active dog with moderate energy who would love a family to walk and play with him.



Patti describes Mr. T as more of an independent pup who will jump up in your lap when he wants affection or to be picked up and held, but he's not needy. He's confident and will go in and outside through the doggy door on his own. He's the perfect companion pup who loves to give kisses, but can also relax. He would be fine as an only dog or part of a pack.



Mr. T is housetrained and crate trained. While he can initially be a little timid, he warms up quickly and meets new people well. He has a passion for squeaky toys, plays fetch, and is still a pretty avid chewer of toys. He has excellent house manners and is not destructive.



Affectionately known as Mr. T, T-man, and T-Rex, he has quickly won the hearts of his foster family, and will make a fantastic companion for some lucky person.
