Zeus is a very loving pup. He came to us so frightened he would not come out of the crate willingly or go outside without a firm hand. To this day, he prefers to be inside although he will come out to play ball and do his business. When we go for a walk, he is ready to come home as soon as he is finished with his business. Any noise startles him so he runs back to his crate. A lawnmower, boat on the lake, noisy truck will send him back in or to the house. In the evening he becomes a different dog. Loves to play outside and runs around the yard. He will lay with us, usually at my feet. He has just discovered his voice and will need constant encouragement on when to use it. He is strong so needs someone to be in command when on a walk. Leaving the property is face paced and for a little on the road but then he will settle down and walk nicely. He loves to be petted and have his back scratched but that will probably take some time when he gets to his new home. He need a fairly quiet home with maybe 1 other dog and/or an older child. He will need patience, love and understanding from his family and will be an exceptionally loyal and loving member of his forever family. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
