Description:
Meet Rooster! If the were only one word to describe Rooster it would be Sweet, Sweet, SWEET! We can also say he is loving, calm, smart, playful and did we mention oh so Sweet! The Person/Family who make Rooster a part of their Family will be Lucky Indeed! Rooster is a Chocolate Lab Mix and has all the loving, calm, intelligence and other wonderful qualities of a Lab. Rooster came to us with a degloved tail. Our Vet said she believes it was caused by a animal who Rooster narrowly escaped. (We should include Courageous and lucky to his personality qualities) Rooster had to have his tail amputated. It is now healed and every one who sees it says how "cute" his little butt is! Being without a tail doesn't stop him from showing his excited puppy love and gratitude! He is being socialized with his Foster fur siblings ranging in various ages, sizes and breeds. They are teaching him "doggie manners" while living in a home he is learning "house manners". Rooster knows to sit for a treat and take it gently, he has a good start at going outside to potty, and he knows to come when called. He sleeps through the night on a dog bed beside his Foster Mom and Dad and wakes us in the morning to go out and potty with the cutest little Arrrhhhh yawns. Rooster is going to be a wonderful companion! He is so eager to please and is a fast learner. Rooster would love a person/family of his own, and will do well in most homes. Rooster would love to have a fur sibling and would love(dog friendly) children to grow with. Please keep in mind that Rooster is a puppy and he will need lots of your time, patience, training and extra love while he grows bigger, more handsome and loving. Also that he will be a large dog and will need DAILY physical and mental exercise. PLEASE READ TO THE END.
