Description:
Vito Moon is an 8 month old Collie/Husky mix that is looking for a new family. Vito has had a tough past, but through it all, he has remained friendly and affectionate.  Vito is a big boy and still has some growing to do, even though he's gentle, because of his size and strength, he will do best with an active family that is familiar with large breed dogs and has no small children (teens and up, may be okay depending on how they interact.  Vito seems to get along with other dogs, although a meet and greet would be necessary.  If interested in meeting Vito, please fill out an application at srasnj.org and then call to schedule an appointment. 908-725-0308. Currently we are doing adoptions by appointment only.  Includes Spay/Neuter, Age appropriate vaccines, preventative deworming, and microchip.  All members of the family must meet the pet, you must provide proof of home ownership or a copy of your lease with addendum stating pets are allowed, all pets in the home must be up to date on vaccines. If you have a dog at home, that dog must come to the shelter for a meet n greet on shelter property. Questions? 908-725-0308. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
