Endless cuddles, loves belly rubs, enjoys relaxing walks: meet me Luke! I'm an 11 year young, neutered Dachshund mix that currently weighs about 23lbs.  I'm an sweet easy going senior gentleman that's looking for the perfect lap to sleep in.  I enjoy going for walks and giving affection to my favorite people. My bottom lip is a little droopy but it does not affect my ability to eat or give kisses! I may be a good fit for a first time dog owner that is looking for a mellow love bug! As an older fellow, my dog park days are behind me. I prefer slow, quiet walks with my best friend (you)! My new home will have teens and adults only please! If you have a dog at home, note that I get along best with mellow fellows like me. Please be sure to bring in the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet with me before adding me to the family.

Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Please note at this time we are doing adoptions by appointments only. Please call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment.Our hours are weekdays from 11am-6pm and weekends from 11am-5pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.   We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
