Pet name:
Confident, Chill, Floof! Dustykin has achieved enlightenment: super chill, does his own thing, is content. He loves people and is happy to receive pets if you offer them; no big deal if you don't. He's Zen like that. Even at his age (what is age, really?), Dusty can be enticed to play. He is really robust for such an old guy! He knows how to keep himself fit - he plays a bit and eats well to keep his gorgeous coat healthy and keep that gleam in his bright eyes. He may not hear quiet sounds very well, but he can hear louder noises. Plain and simple, Dusty is a sweetheart. And mostly fur! He is quite the ball of floof, and is a delight to watch go about his daily activities. He enjoys a good brushing; that is a lot of fur to have to take care of all by himself, even an enlightened guy like him. Dusty has so much love to give! He enjoys spending time with his humans and will hang out in the same room with you. He may not be a total lap cat, but he will seek you out for love and the occasional pampering session. Dusty will bat around a tennis ball that might be laying around and is good at entertaining himself. He doesn't require too many toys, but would love a few in his fur-ever home just to have the option to play! Dusty deserves a loving home where he can spend his remaining years. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with this Zen Master. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Dustykin, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
