How to Adopt Me:  Contact us at HPHS@Ymail.com and ask for an ADOPTION APPLICATION GEMINI is a sweet, affectionate boy between 2-5 years old.  He loves attention.  At some point he was neutered as a feral with an ear clip, but he is not a feral anymore.  He would do wonderfully as an indoor cat where he can receive the love and care he deserves.  There are a number of pellets lodged in his neck, but according to the vet they are causing him no discomfort.  They can easily be removed under sedation.  To arrange a visit at the Kitty Corral located in the Second Chance Thrift Store, 114 E. First Street, Alturas, CA 96101 email the Cat Coordinator, Linda Dunbar at HPHScats@gmail.com.  Adoption fee is $60 HPHS supports spay/neutering of all pets. Adopt from us and your new pet is spayed or neutered.  They are up to date with their shots as well.   Discount spay/neuter vouchers are also available at the Second Chance Thrift Store. Income verification is necessary tp receive the voucher.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
