Sammy and his brother Tigger were adopted from a local humane society in November 2008 and lived a wonderful life . Sadly their owner died in November 2020. The family took them in to their household , but they didn’t blend well with the 6 resident cats, so they asked for our help.Sammy is Hyperthyroid but it is well controlled with a topical ear medicine or a pill.
Sammy had a urinary blockage in 2013 and had corrective surgery, he is maintained on an all canned food diet which is very important. He has had no issues at all with his bladder .
