Pet name:
Affectionate, Window gazer, Curious Matiltan has beautiful golden green eyes which pop against his light orange fur coat. He loves attention and pets and will follow his person around to every room and bathroom throughout the day. He likes to stare out the window next to his person's desk while they're working and as soon as they get up to go to another room he hops down and follows. He does not like to be picked up though! Matiltan loves to snuggle all day and night! He will lay on your chest while you're in bed. He will hop into your lap while you're working at a desk. He's always seeking pets! Matiltan likes to entertain himself with small objects like headphones and tiny stuffed mice toys. Sometimes he gets in a big baking kick and makes some intense biscuits. He must be watching The Great British Baking Show. Rather ironically, Matiltan would prefer that you not clatter too many pots and pans in the kitchen! He will run under the bed or couch when someone is cooking; he would love a quieter home since loud noises can startle him. Matiltan is looking for somewhere to call home sweet home, with people to call people sweet people! (If that's not a thing, Matiltan thinks it should be.) Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet. Matiltan is a healthy FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) cat. FIV+ cats typically live long, healthy lives! For more information, please contact APA! or read this FAQ: All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Matiltan, please email

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
