Pet name:
Another kitty saved from the mean STL City streets via St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach and Stray Haven Feline Rescue! ~ >^..^<Bob, (aka 'Just Bob', aka 'Just Call Me Bob'), has come a very long way in the last year+. Bob was a surprise TNR. He was fixed through St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach's TNR program, received his ear tip , and his rabies vaccination. During his recovery period, the foster noticed the faint vestiges of having been someone's pet at one time. With love, patience and time Bob learned to trust again, eventually following me into the kitchen, and becoming a spoiled, happy housecat. Bob is up to date on all his vaccinations, is neutered, tested positive for FIV+, (very common for unfixed males living outside), but negative for FeLV, (feline leukemia), and has a clean bill of health otherwise. Bob is a very vocal boy; he loves to talk to me while he rubs on my legs, receives back and head scratches, is a biscuit-making machine, and loves for me to receive a head butt and kiss from him, on my cheek. He also loves to catnap the day away in his pod, and has become quite the food connoisseur, developing an adorable round tummy. Bob is good with other cats, tolerant of dogs, and loves people. He can be a bit shy meeting new people at first, but with time, love and patience, he is a very sweet and loving boy. He is FIV+, but it really isn't a big deal. He can live a long, healthy and happy life with other cats. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
