Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, 100% all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in North Carolina — over 4,000 lives saved since 2009. We rescue cats and kittens from high kill shelters in rural North Carolina. All of our cats and kittens are fulling vetted; we test for feline leukemia and FIV, deworm, treat for fleas, vaccinate, spay or neuter, and microchip before finding these unwanted, helpless animals, permanent loving homes. We are self-funded through adoption fees, donations, and fundraising events and have an annual budget of approximately $175,000. Adoption events are held every weekend from 11:30 am - 3 pm. We are proud to be a PetSmart Charities Adoption Partner and manage the PetSmart Adoption Centers in Wake Forest at 11835 Retail Drive and in Raleigh at Six Forks Station, 8825 Six Forks Road, and half-time at Capital Crossings, 2800 East Millbrook Road. Dapple came to Purr Partners a very scared kitty. It is unknown what happened but he is slowly learning to trust humans. He is great with the other kitties and would love a quiet home where he can play with other cats. He currently lets his foster mom to pet him when she is petting other cats but if they walk away he does too. He lacks the confidence to be petted by humans without the support of the other cats in the house, but once he is comfortable in his own home he may get more confident. Otherwise, he sits in the room with his human family, loves to play with the other cats, hang out in the cat tree and play with any toys you provide. For more information or to apply to adopt please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/ For adoption fees, policies, and to complete an adoption application, please go to: http://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/ Find out more at purrpartners.org or follow us on Twitter @purrpartners and Facebook & Instagram @purrpartnersnc Thank you!
