Peter is the sweetest boy who spends most of his day lounging in the presence of his humans. He is shy at first, but once he warms up he’s a total lap cat and loves to be near his favorite people! He will stay in the same room as you, make biscuits right next to you, and show you his love by curling up beside you and trying to get as close to you as he can. He has the softest fur and loves pets!
He is around 7/8 years old but he’s as playful as a kitten and loves toys and catnip! He’s smart and patient, which makes him very good at solving cat puzzles too!
When he's done playing, he likes to find a nice cubby or a comfy chair to lounge on. He is a low key guy who doesn’t like too much excitement, and tends to be frightened of loud sounds and strangers. He will hide when he is scared, but some dry treats always help. He is incredibly gentle with people, and very good about letting you clip his claws but he prefers not to be picked up and carried. He currently lives with a cat-brother and dog-sister but we think that Peter would prefer to be an only pet, so that he can get all his people’s love.
Peter would prefer a calm, quiet home. He would also appreciate a guardian who will be home more often than not. He is easily stressed by new things, and finicky about having a clean litterbox or two at all times- and who could blame him! Sometimes his stress makes him pee outside the litterbox, and he feels most comfortable when he is settled into a quiet routine.
This sweet, loyal boy just wants a nice perch where he can keep an eye on his family and to show his affection. If you'd like to provide Peter with a loving home, contact us soon.
