Lucky kitties!Midnight was born around December 24, 2012 and is a rather large boy weighing about 13 pounds.   Midnight and 9 of his kitty friends and 5 dogs came to us because their owner was moving and unable to take everyone with her.   Sadly their living conditions were not good.  None of the pets were spayed or neutered.  They all had severe flea infestations and the smell is not something we are soon to forget.  We are so very happy Joyful Rescues was able to help in this situation.  The ten kitties and five dogs are now all vetted and bug free and ready for better days ahead.  Midnight seems to be the patriarch of the group and has scars from living a tough life but he is as sweet as they come.   He is good with other cats, dogs, and kids and is ready to find the perfect spot to curl up and take a nap while you read a good book.   A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime. The ADOPTION FEE The adoption fee for a cat 3 years and up is $50.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for that cat. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A CAT FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
