Description:
DOB: 9/1/20 Did you promise your cat(s) a new cat friend? Jacques-Pierre is looking for a chill big brother or big sister!   Jacques-Pierre wishes to snuggle and casually wrestle with any cat who will tolerate his mild kitten antics and affection. Caught as an older kitten, he quickly came to love hugs and pats from humans. He purrs instantly when touched and will do just about anything for food. He likes snuggles with his humans at certain times of day. Mealtime, bedtime, or when he's feeling sleepy. Occasionally, he still spooks when approached quickly, so he will need some time when settling in to his new place and would prefer a family who has extensive kitty experience. Although he lacks notable athleticism (he can't even jump up on the table!), options for climbing will help him continue to build confidence and help him get out his kitten energy. He's a real sweetheart.      Jacques-Pierre promises to grow into a big cat — he is half-again the size of any of his siblings — and would prefer to be the companion to a cat who is also on the bigger side. Because he was caught as an older kitten, he will benefit from the continued leadership of another cat who can model how to enjoy being loved and cuddled by humans. He has a sensitivity to chicken and will need a diet completely free of chicken -- turkey, duck, and so on all seem fine for him.  If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting him, please click here to email his foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
