Description:
Sweet, snuggly Oakford is looking for a forever family to spoil him!

Sweet baby Oakford is a very special kitten looking for a loving forever home. He was one of three kittens born to a community cat mama who went into labor shortly before being spayed and released back to her colony (he and his sisters were named after the Point Breeze streets near where mama was found).

As the only boy of the litter, little Oakford enjoyed being doted on by his mama. Even though he's weaned and a "big boy" kitten now, he hopes his forever family will continue to spoil him and give him all of the attention! Oakford is looking for a home with another kitty to help him continue learning how to cat. Oakford is the perfect fit for a family who is working from home long term or has someone home most of the time to nurture him and continue helping him to perfect his litterbox skills and eating manners.

He's an excellent home office mate, proficient in spreadsheets, lap desk snuggles, and zoom appearances. Despite his gentle nature, Oakford is the ultimate predator to mouse toys, especially those on a string. He will proudly drag them to their doom growling the whole way. Aside from that, this sweet boy gets along great with his small dog and kitty foster siblings. At the end of the day though, his favorite company is his human's.

Oakford is currently being treated for a mild fungal infection called ringworm, so any interested adopter should be prepared to continue that treatment.
