Description:
Rocko is a lovable Border-Collie, German Shepherd mix weighing in right at 100lbs. He is a big, active, and fun loving boy who is extremely energetic. Rocko loves to play with all kind of toys, and his sweet goofball personality makes this handsome guy even cuter.
But his favorite thing to have is your attention. He relishes belly rubs and vigorous petting, and enjoys all the attention you’ll give him… all day long. Because of his size and energy levels, Rocko just isn’t a good match for apartment living, or for being left inside for hours on a regular basis. But if you’ve got the energy, room and would love being with him as much as he loves being with his people, this just might be a match made in doggy heaven.
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Rocko is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
