Description:
Maverick is a 3 year old purebred German Shepherd,  75 lbs of love and affection.   He is a very smart young pup who loves to please his human and thrives for training and direction.   Maverick is a dog that will go anywhere with you - he enjoys car rides, hiking trails, and loves to play in the water…do you need a beach companion? Maybe Maverick is your man!   He has some basic training, but needs someone who is serious with working with him since he does have some resource guarding issues with food, which if consistent, can be easily addressed.        Maverick was in a foster home with young children and was great with them, though was still a puppy and has some manners to learn.   He's incredibly loving and people-oriented, and does well with other dogs too, but is not submissive to dominant dogs.   Can you give this beautiful boy the second chance at life that he deserves? FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
